    Default Schultz Moving Forward

What do you all make of Mr. Schultz and his apparent breakout? Is he a 45 ish point dman moving forward or is this just a hot streak that sees him fade back to being a 30-35 point guy?

I've got him in the league in my signature and have been trying to sell high on him but other GMs are skeptical. I'm starting to wonder if I should just hold him anyway and have him be one of the cornerstones of my emerging D-corps. Thoughts?

I don't think you can call him a "cornerstone" defenseman but he certainly has upside and your defence is lacking that in general.
Schultz can play with the big boys in Pittsburgh so as long as he keeps his spot he should generate points with a decent floor (30-35 points).
Given the fact that Letang is made out of porcelain, he will regularly feature on the 1st PP too.
So unless you get fair value, I would keep him and enjoy the ride while it lasts... best case scenario, he sustains his breakout and become a PP specialist.

Schultz has the talent to be a 45-55 player. PIT is a great fit for him in terms of style of play and defensive depth which takes the pressure off him to be the "cornerstone".

I'll probably be riding him for the rest of the season - the key is whether he sticks on PP1 when Letang is in.

I'm jaded from drafting him in a keeper when Edmonton recruited him, haha. But I'd hold him for sure rest of season, he seems pretty locked in to the top 4 on a team with a high powered offense.

Whats with all the 'updated' double posts recently in the forums?
