what D are you getting in that OEL deal, if it's someone of relevance with Okposo and 2 picks you gotta do it, that's a great return for a great player.
Is Subban a good return for him? I'm pretty much out of the running so it's more of keeper upgrade move for next year

That deal with OEL fell apart, the other guy doesn't like the +/-, he's a stingy guy so I'm not worried, tired of dealing with him

I still lean OEL due to he's younger, % of team's PP, and his likelihood to bring his shot total up based on his last two season's track record... I always want heavy shooting defenseman
Last three seasons (included this one), I calculate average shots per game:
OEL - 2.79
Hedman - 2.10
Subban - 2.47
The hype on Subban seems to be gone it looks maybe I should hold Hedman

Definitely keep Hedman. He has quickly emerged as a top-end (top 10), elite Dman in fantasy hockey (especially in keeper leagues) and is only getting better. You have to note his PP time on ice over the years. His first few years in the league were sheltered with only 1-1.5 minutes on the PP. Then he broke out for 55 points when it doubled to 2.5 minutes. This year he is averaging 3 minutes and is en route for a career year (60-70 points). Imagine when he finally starts getting the PP time PK and OEL have been getting their entire careers (4-5 minutes avg).
Now compare those numbers to PK (who seems to have taken a step back in NSH and is not the even strength stud Hedman has always been)... PK was getting 3-4 minutes of PP time from the get-go in MTL. That increased to 4-5 minutes of PP time when he was putting up 50-60 points. That is insane when you compare it to Hedman's limited PP time. PK in only getting 3 minutes of PP time in NSH now and it shows in his stats.
Then we look at OEL. He is more all-around than PK but, like PK, his numbers are boosted with the incredible amount of PP time he's been getting. Looking at his three best seasons offensively, he was getting 4 minutes, 4 minutes and 5 minutes of PP time (55 points)! Those are crazy averages. Can't blame the Coyotes for giving him that amount of time, he is a stud and they don't have anyone close to his level when it comes to walking the blue line with the puck and getting shots on net. But he has far less to work with in Arizona... and his +/- is pretty bad every year. The fact that he hits a lot might counter that last point but...
At the end of the day, Hedman is the big stud here. He is the guy you keep and build around. He is only getting better with age and is just stepping into his prime (which should last well into his mid-30s, think Nick Lidstrom type numbers). He's put up the same numbers as PK and OEL with far less PP time... this year he is finally getting a comparable amount of PP time and is finally starting to surpass their output levels and entering top-end, elite status.
My $0.02. Good luck with your decision and trade negotiations!

Great insight man, I've stuck with Hedman for 3 years now do my gut has always told me to stick with your guy but this cements it. Will rep all I can
