in my setup , only karlsson has any points ( 70)
barrie has 4
provorov 20
muzzin 10
Faulk 20

carlsson has 28,

id have to pay with a foward ( team in sig)
is he good or last year and half was just flash in the pan?

I believe he was playing though an injury to start the season, now he's on a role with 9 points in his past 10 games.

Doubt he stays this hot for long but a 55-60 point pace over the rest of the season would not be a surprise.

I'd dump Muzzin for him though Barrie has a strong case to get the boot as well.

Edit: missed the part about moving a forward for him. Who would it take to trade for him or is he a FA?

I don't believe he's a dud at all but I really don't think of him as a stud either( compared to what he's really drafted for). I'd probably go the route of fabbri or one of your bench players. Their is a couple of roster players on defense you got that I'd rather Carlson than mentioned by hky23.

Absolute stud.

Seems like there are a bunch of studs in their mid to late 20s we're used to seeing at the top of the tables having a rough go of it to start the year (Kopitar, Kuznetsov, Brassard, Landeskog, Toffoli, Trocheck, etc.).

Could be the result of many things. I suspect in the older guys' cases (Carlson, Kopitar) it might be due to the start of their young families? Extra fatigue sitting it?... New linemates? Teammates? Coaching staff? Undisclosed injuries.. Who knows!?

I'd bank on a big 2nd half from Carlson and Kopitar though.

Carlson is really good and an excellent buy low candidate due to his slow start. Looking at your defence it's tough cause 3 of you guys( Faulk, Barrie and Muzzin) are all under performing from where they were projected to be. Carlson would be an upgrade to any of those 3 though. Giving up Vesey is pretty big though unless he's not a keeper for you. Could you get it done with moving Buchnevic instead of Vesey?
