Basing the decision on what we know for sure, Kostitsyn is the much better pick at this time, but Brassard, provided he can stay healthy will be given the opportunity, and like it or not, Hitchcock will have to give these skilled guys some rope to create out there, if they hope to take the next step and make the playoffs. I like Brassard for next season, 2010-11 and beyond, but the decision should be based on whether or not you are contending this year. If yes, then go with Kosty, if not Brassard has a very high ceiling and I think will be the better fantasy option shortly.

I should temper my expectations of Brassard a bit. I meant to say 2010-11 and beyond. Next season may be too early for him to establish himself by. Kostitysn has a great supporting cast in Montreal, but the kids in Columbus are reason to be very excited. Brassard, Voracek and Filatov will be fantastic players very soon.

Props to you puck you where right the 1st time Brassard will arrive next year after breaking out this year with close to 60 points. I would pick him up now as AK will only outpoint him by maybe 15 points tops in your scoring system for this year.

I am hoping Brassard can bust out this year, but I just think after they gave the big money to Umberger, I am thinking Hitch will give Umberger every opportunity to stick with Nash and Huselius, which may delay Brassard\'s breakout campaign.

Umberger is getting huge minutes right now and seems to have the ear of the coach.

I\'d be sticking with AK right now.
