Lucic for Kucherov?

I was just offered Kucherov for Lucic. I think Lucic is pretty clearly more valuable in my league with hits, and he might have a career year. But I like Kucherov, he's the much greater natural scoring talent, and if Lucic wasn't playing with McDavid would take it in a second. Trade or no?

I agree that Lucic is valuable in your league and might have a career year next to McDavid. That said, he will not match Kucherov's point production and I think you have hits covered with other players on your team. Easy YES for me.

Would really like more opinions here! Probably taking Kucherov. But keep in mind with just 3 of 5 offensive categories my league weights hits much more than most leagues you'll come across.

Even though it's only a 1 year league, I'd do it without hesitation. I think you'll get 10-15 more points and ~80 more shots. I think that's a lot harder to find than ~180 hits.

I'd do this without a doubt. You can more than make up for hits with the squad you got. Easy yes for me.

With Dubinski, Kadri, Horny, Gudas you´ll be fine, agree with the rest that this is a good deal. Maybe if your opponent is low on hits and pims, you could try and get something more out of the deal, for example include Kadri or Dubinski for a more productiv C.

I think Pavelski or Simmonds from my opponent for a Kadri would be pushing it, and anyone else would be a downgrade for me, and especially wouldn't help me with assists, which I could use most. Kucherov is a solid enough scoring boost.

My dilemna still is who to drop with Girardi on IR but now back. I was going to drop him, but I might like the option of shifting in either Girardi for blocks or Gudas for hits as I need them. Which would probably mean dropping Kadri. With Lucic gone I like Dubinsky as a consistent hits foundation who will give me decent sog too. I'm not confident in Kadri. He could easily stay on the third line for most of the year with reduced minutes, and without a hope of reaching his best numbers. Nylander looks for real and two Leafs forwards on different lines on my team is a bit of a crowd.
