Well, my season is done. He's the only player I owned in both my 1 yr leagues.
No repeat this year.
So I bet a lot of 1 yr fantasy teams are not having fun with this injury.

No one hitting him, couldn’t even walk, that’s 100% a torn ACL/PCL. One of those ligaments popped, and like most injuries to the knee this is likely the ACL, and he’s done for the yr. The good thing in Keeper leagues tho, he’ll likely be back for next yr.

Very doubtful to be a PCL. Most likely it is an ACL based on the cause for the injury and his knee positioning in the cart when leaving the field. Wouldn't surprise me if there was MCL damage as well as these two generally go hand in hand (though MCL injuries are not as serious as once thought).
16-team full point PPR with 24 man rosters....zero chance in hell of replacing Allen. Butter me up, I'm toast.
I was wondering why some SD-WR that I didn't know was the "most added" player in Yahoo! leagues yesterday.
Crazy. Stinks for Allen & Allen fantasy owners.
MCL usually happens when there’s contact, pushing from inside the knee out. But if there’s any slight damage they usually fix it up during the ACL surgery because they’re operating on the knee anyways.
Still hard injury to take for a team in week1.
Ya, it’s T. Williams that’ll likely be the WW player to step up into some receptions in SD

MCL is not necessarily contact as it can be torn or partially torn from excessive force but on the knee during rotation (over-rotation) in ACL injuries. Often, if the the MCL is only partially torn, they often don't bother to repair it because of the additional recovery and strain on the knee itself....usually depends on what other damage is done in/around the knee as well (cartilage, muscles, bone brusing etc.).
Regardless, done for the year and I cried myself to sleep last night. He was everything we expected in what he did play though. A possession monster.
I didn't see the game or the highlights of the injury but is this something similar to what happened to Teddy Bridgewater?

To me, I draw more comparisons to Jamaal's injury from last season...but I didn't pull video on the Bridgewater injury.
Here's a Youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVUDL51LteM
(I would have posted the video here if I knew how).
