Vesey should hold out another year...go play in Europe or whatever, and then sign with Vegas and be the face of the franchise.

I haven't investigated it yet (bigtime Devils fan) but I've heard he has some sort of connection to Hynes. Something like they are from the same area, or frequented the same rinks, I don't know. Could mean nothing, but that's what I've heard. NJ is also honestly not a bad fit for him anyway, so maybe there's more general hockey reasoning behind it too.Originally Posted by Godin

I doubt Vesey will be better than their top draft pick in their inaugural season (will be no lower than 6th overall) but who knows.
