I don\'t get the love for Tampa - that defense is god awful.
Here is the LINK.
So I was skimming it and read this last point, \"Predictions\" and I found a lot of them quite bizarre or at least, not the \"norm.\" Heres most of them:
- TB the surprise team of the year (possibly, not that crazy)
- Vancouver’s Alain Vigneault the first coach fired (don\'t know much about this but I don\'t think this would happen)
- AO to score.....80!!!! goals and win the scoring title(the later seems much more reasonable...but 80 goals?!?! is that not crazy?)
- Brunnstrom as rookie of the year (I highly highly doubt that unless Richards or Ribs go off this year)
- Chara to win Norris Trophy (Chara is certainly very good but I don\'t think hes ready yet, as in Lidstrom hes still damn good)
- Detroit wins Presidents Trophy but loses in the 2nd round of playoffs (very possible lol)
- Finally, Dallas vs Washington in the finals....really WSH already?

Haha I just finished reading that as well. I was actually going to post the prediction but I see you beat me to it.
AO = 80 goals... it\'s a little extreme... I mean, let the guy break 70 first... however if there is anyone who\'s the best cadidate to do it.. he\'s your guy..
Chara, Brunnstrom and WSH in the finals is a little wacky as well... how about letting the Caps win a playoff series first... although, I guess he could be going based on Pitts blueprint from last season as they had lost in the first round and made a run last year. The only difference is that Pitts got the solid goaltending they needed from Fleury whereas I don\'t see the same thing out of Theo. He may be good again, but not solid enough to bring a team to the cup final.

Regarding Ovechkin.
If he shot the same amount of shots as last year he would need to have a 17.9 shooting percentage to hit 80 goals. He had a 14.6 last year. That would place him top 10 in SH% for the year. Unlikely, but certainly doable.
80 goals - I admire a man with big cahonies!
I\'d wait to see 70, but I won\'t laugh at this call - it\'s reasonable I\'d think. But wow!

For the first time ever, I got a #1 overall pick this year. AO was my choice. 80 goals would be a thing of beauty!
