I think he is a full time NHL player this year, quite possibly a 3/4 guy so he should get plenty of ice time. As far as production goes, I wouldnt expect much from him in his first full seasons. Maybe 25 points.
NYR is thin on D and the Fantasy Prospects Report had nice things to say about Brady Skjei.
How many games do you think he'll get this season, what type of minutes, what type of multi-cat production?

Thanks Axeman33! Sure hope you're right, cause I knew he'd pass through our post-draft 48-hr waiver wire period and snagged him as a Free Agent. As my 10th D-man in a real deep league that would be a huge help.
I don't see much from him offensively but he is probably there to stay.

I think he's their third pairing, PP2 guy to start the season. Though with an injury or two (and the NYR blueline isn't any stranger to that) then he could look like a steal with that FA pickup you just made.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Thanks guys. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
On the flip side, if he plays the full year he'll have trade value in your league. People love young players because they're young.

He'll most likely start every game and should get a lot of ice time. Besides McDonagh and Klein, Skjei doesn't have too many guys to compete with. However, I don't see him doing much offensively since it will be his first full year in the NHL. I expect him to finish with around 20ish points
I don't see much offence coming but I think he makes the show at least.

More two way than anything else. Figure he has a 30 point ceiling on his career. I think he sees over half the season with the Big Apple next year.
It's possible... just possible... The Rangers have a worse D core than Edmonton this year.
