Pretty similar to mine. My brother still gets THN magazines, so I get to read those, and I agree, the draft preview issue is always a good one.
Thank you from me as well dobberites!
Here's my prospects draft's strategy from the last 5 years:
1) I watch a lot of games during the season (especially from the Q).
2) I read the Undrafted Prospects section in the forum and look carefully at what the guys are saying about. I give extra-attention on the posts from the guys that know a lot about all the prospects (and this site has so many guys that fit this description!)
3) I use Dobber's prospects report to garner as much information.
4) I use THN's Draft Preview (I think that it's a nice tool).
5) I usually end up on top of all the other players in my league!
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys for this site. It's just part of my daily routine to read the ramblings and the forum and I really enjoy it!

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
As many sources as possible, I also like the McKeen's guide. Turned me on to Adam Fox this year, could be a huge steal in the back ends of dynasty entry drafts.

Here are my draft strategies in my 30 team dynasty league with 25 men rosters and full farm teams:
1) Trade away my top round picks for actual NHL players who help my team win now
2) Pick up late round picks as throw ins in trades and trade down for more picks during the draft
3) Use the late round picks to draft college free agents and guys already playing in the AHL who are close to the NHL
I may never own any of the superstar potential prospects with this strategy but I don't really need to if most of the players I draft are NHL guys since I then package those guys up for better players.
This strategy probably would not work in smaller leagues.
