Worst trade offer

Let\'s have some fun and let our frustrations out, in a politically correct way (don\'t name anybody), by exposing here the worst trade offer we ever received.

I\'ll start

Three years ago I acquired a team in a keeper league (points only) that is running for 12 years now. The first offer that I received was this one.

His Mike Johnson for my Alexei Kovalev and Patrik Elias. Johnson had 10 points in 11 games the year before but...Do I need to say more.

for
my Daniel Briere and eighth overall.

Sorry, but 95-point proven guys will trump potential any day of the week B)

I receive a offer for Ryan Whitney,

Whitney vs Prucha and second round choice (29 overall)

Ha my Staal offer was worse

I was offered Prospal for Staal a couple of days ago.

Here\'s one that I received that never got to an actual offer becasue it was so bad.

I asked him what it would take to get Raycroft from him and he said it would take either Ovechkin or Malkin. That was the last I talked to him.

I hate to say this, but I\'ve offered a few stinkers. Not out of malice but out of n00b ignorance, when I was still learning the ropes of fantasy pools. I treated trade offers like bartering - you aim for the moon, then you bargain down to a reasonable compromise.

I insulted the intelligence of a few GMs, I\'m sure... I\'d like to think I\'ve gotten better since then.

There are still experienced poolies who do that - so give yourself credit for learning. Scary part is that they still get away with the odd one which only encourages them.

about 5 months ago i was interested in acquiring ovechkin, When i asked what it would take, i was told crosby/malkin. I havnt stopped laughing since.

This one guy in my keeper league comes up with some laughers. His latest was offering me Kovalchuk for the Sedin twins and my Round 1 (4th overall) and R2 picks in our entry draft.
