I would go with Matthew Tkachuk.
Just won draft lottery finished 13/16 in multi cat dynasty league
i also have 4th overall
i know who I am taking at 1
who should I take at 4?
finns will go 2. & 3
thanks
I would go with Matthew Tkachuk.
I would argue for Tkachuk over the Finns in a multi-cat league - shots, PIMs, hits, PPP...
I would trade the "hope" for a real NHL player. That is just my style thou.
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
I would probably gamble on Dubois. I'm a fan.

Just to clarify your guidance, is this regarding his 4th overall pick which was the OP's true question, or where you suggesting that he try and move the 1st overall pick for a "Real NHL Player"?
Big difference between the two IMO. Want to be clear for the OP.
Incidently, I would take Tkachuk at 4th if the Fins and Matthews go 1-3.
If I am sitting with the fourth overall, and the big three go in whatever order they go, I would draft Tkachuk.

i wait until NHL draft order is finalized. there is going to be someone who lands in a sweet, sweet spot. happens most years.
tell your league that you are contemplating moving the pick since you got matthews.
see if someone gives you a deal you can't refuse.
otherwise take tkachuk.
I would take Laine 1st. Think Hall over Seguin... Both good players but Seguin is the difference maker in your fantasy league.
I would absolutely not recommend this^. Even if it's true, as with Hall & Seguin that will likely take a few seasons to sort out and in the meantime Matthews will be the more valuable commodity.
If you were to decide you don't want Matthews then the logical move is to trade down with someone who does.
