Re: Parise for Skinner + Connor Murphy
I'm not too familiar with Connor Murphy so I can't comment on him.
I know Skinner is a very frustrating own. I have owned him a few times in a few leagues and he drives you nuts. His constant is SOG's - which Parise also offers. In a league that also counts hits/blocks/fow's he is useless in those categories. -3 isn't bad, but not great. Yes he will give you goals, but remember this year he had two hat tricks 2 games apart which boosts his totals...then cools off considerably
While I do know that Parise is older and maybe "declining" due to injuries, I still think he is a legitimate threat every game for some hits, lots of shots, goals, assists etc. I think you can get more for him than this deal from a contender in your league. If not, I would rather hold on to him and try to move him next year with the same argument or see if he rebounds. 31 still isn't THAT old.
This is my opinion though...and I am a biased former Skinner owner.
