Re: Kassian: Multi-Cat Stud or just a Dud?
Kasssian has been getting a lot of praise from the coaching staff and media since he came over. Granted that was before Sunday where he got into some kind of fight (turned the game off at 5-0) that apparently may have broke the code or something. He provides a mix of grit and enough skill that the Oilers simply don't have in their top-9. I think he'll play out the rest of the season on the 2nd/3rd line and could get a year or two extension in Edmonton.
I'd put him down for 35 points, 200 Hits and 100 PIMs, with a -10 or so +/-. In a league like yours I think he's worth holding on to as the ability to find that on the wire for $2 is probably pretty low.
