One last crack at the NHL and proving you can succeed against the very best would be the draw for me... but that's a fairly Canadian outlook on it. He may be happy to play at home and whoop it up with the local boys.

Hoopo is right though, the ruble is not strong and the frequency with which players in the KHL get screwed over on their contracts is pretty substantial. Likely not a superstar local like Radulov, but still.

The ruble crashed hard at the end of 2014 and while it has recovered since then, I could see how that might have gotten a few big name KHLers thinking of what else is out there.

It recovered moderately before crashing back down. RUBUSD currently is about 0.012, it's lowest of all time.

I scooped him up in one of my keepers, have him and Kovie. Really hope at least Radu comes back the most though.
