Default Oh where, oh where could Marian Gaborik be?...

I saw a Gaborik thread and I just had to post this little bit of news I came across from training camp...

    He\'s injured.

Hee hee hee. He says it\'s not serious (pulled hamstring or something) but once again this guy is sidelined by an injury. I will never draft or trade for Gaborik. He\'s very talented but the frustration as a fantasy owner with all his injuries is just too much to deal with.

Any team looking to trade for him better have a great relationship with their local hospital.

    gabbys hardly injured...lol....jokes....

    zzzzzzzzzzzzz

the bandid boy thing is overdone...

gabby played 77 games last year

this \'pulled\' quad is an old school vet tactic to keep out of early meaningless for star-superstar practices

most teams superstars or stars have yet to partake in anything more than a \'light\' skate

management and superstars are all in on the fake injury \'tactic\'...its a training camp tradition for most stars

With the cap space T.O. will have next year, you can be sure they will make a HUGE pitch for him.
I thought he wanted to play for a good team?
I think by \"good\" he means a team that will let him do whatever he wants offensively....

Not a chance, if Risebrough trades him I\'m guessing he\'s the crown jewel of the trade deadline. That second line center plus a second year d-man and two or three picks.

As for the off-season, I think every team in the NW Division not called the Flames makes sense...he would be a great way to keep the Avalanche relevant with the locals after Joe retires. But after seeing the worst of these teams for his entire career, perhaps he just wants to go elsewhere.

I\'d be interested to know the percentage of UFAs who go to a divisional rival out of all those who change teams.
I don\'t think he would be a deadline move. My feeling is that Risebrough will want to trade him ASAP once it becomes apparent that a long-term deal can\'t be struck simply because of his potential for injury. Move him now while his value is high rather than risk holding onto him and seeing his trade value plummet following an injury.
