Lindy Ruff said he expects Antoine Roussel (upper body) to play in Detroit Sunday.

Any word on Roussel? He almost played last game but was a last-minute scratch. Even if he's healthy, would Ruff opt for sitting him in favour of playing the same roster that has been winning?

I know Ruff does not like to disclose this type of info so it may be just guesses. Does he not know the importance of fantasy decisions?

Yeah, I feared that might be the case. If I sit him, he'll end up playing and get 25 PIM this week. If I play him, he'll get scratched a couple of games and I would have wasted a roster spot. See what an optimist I am

Thanks NWO. Well, I decided to sit him this week so I'm sure he'll get lots on PIM. But it's definitely good news as I don't like seeing Roussel being a healthy scratch.
