Brandon Dubinsky - Career year?

Dubinsky is currently getting the most ice-time of any forward for Columbus, ahead of guys like Johansen and Foligno. It's pretty well known that Torts loves the guy and he's showing it. Dubinsky is getting PP1 time and is centering the top line between Foligno and Saad. His best season was 2011-12 where he got 24G-30A (54 points in 77 games with the Rangers), also under Tortorella by the way. If he stays healthy, I think he can get 60 points this year, something like 25G-35A, plus a boat load of hits and faceoff wins if your league counts them. Pick him up while you can.

Could be. Every year I drink the koolaid on Dubinsky and Hanzal because I think they're both great players but they do always get hurt. I'm trying to figure out a way to get Dubinsky...I'm sitting on a slew of players that are borderline replaceable but I'm holding out on a bounceback from (Kadri, Hornqvist, Hoffman, etc.) I did just pick Brassard up yesterday and may drop him for Dubi but Green coming off my IR+ makes things complciated.

I agree, this will be a career year for him IF he doesn't get injured. And he's Torts boy. He plays the game the way Torts like.

Injuries always kill his momentum though. I have a hard time trusting him long-term.

Not a guy you want to trust on, but certainly the guy that puts you over the hump.

This has always been my issue with him as well. I love his game, especially for multi-cat fantasy formats but the injuries keep him from ever really being a true force.
