Any upside on any of them starting a handful of quality starts?

This is a tough one but I suspect Ortio will be given some opportunity to take Hiller's job as they don't trust him 100% it seems. I say Lack is in a similar situation as well. I'd have expected Calgary to have been a better team than Carolina but it's difficult at this point to recommend one over the other. In terms of actual opportunities I like those two more than the rest.

Does your league have limited moves? If not you could try streaming backup goalies like Condon or Hutton on back to backs, without actually having to keep them on your roster long term.

yes this league is limited moves 25 for the year and i used 5 atm

Orio and Lack have the best chance at stealing some starts but Lack won't win too many games and the Hurricanes love playing Ward so I'd pick up Ortio. The Flames like him and Hiller hasn't been to good so he should get his chances

I think if Ortio gets a few starts and produces well, he could steal the majority of starts from Hiller. Calgary is bad this year and even though it's mostly the same core that made a push into the post season last year, I wouldn't expect too much from them.

I suspect he would make a fine 4th goalie but it's still a developing situation.

I would grab Lack personally, at one point he'll steal that crease and if not it will be his next season anyways I suspect.

After that Ortio will definitely get a shot at some starts with the terrible run CGY has been on

With limited moves, why would you want to waste a roster spot on a backup goalie? What is the rest of your roster? Who are your 3 goalies now?
