Injuries always propel players up the hierarchy. Hopefully this is one of those times, but I still think in this case, Shattenkirk is always locked in as the teams 1st d when it comes to offense.
    DLines:
    Bouwmeester-Pietrangelo
    Gunnarsson-Parayko
    Bortuzzo-Edmundson
    PPD Lines:
    1
    Steen-Pietrangelo (Shattenkirks position)
    2
    Bouwmeester-Parayko
My guess is when Shatts comes back, Piet goes to Bouwmeesters position and Parayko stays. The 2nd line PP I think in STB organization actually gets good time so it’s not like Washington where it’s almost useless to get another Caps D for PPP other than Carlson.

What's his role when Shatty is back? Does he go to #2 pp and bump one of the vets off?
    Non-keeper 11-team auction league with 5 active forwards, two D. Points only (G=1, A=1)

The world does not judge actions on their own merit, but on their chance results, and they consider that only those actions which are blessed with a happy outcome have been undertaken with sound advice and reason
