Our league counts G(3), A(2), SOG, Hit and BS at 0.1 apiece, +/- and PPP(1).
Do you guys see Barkov being better than TJ in the not so distant future or am I just drinking too much hype-juice?

i'd take Johnson easily. i dont see either having a significant advantage in upside so may as well go with the more proven commodity.

That's kind of what I figure too ... I'm wondering if it would be worth it if I could get a + thrown in. Something like a Hertl, Jaskin or Zacha. My team is quite young and not likely to compete this year or next.

It should definitely be Barkov+ for Johnson and probably more than Zacha or Jaskin.
Like others have said, Johnson has already hit the 70 point mark and he's just 25. Barkov looks like a stud, but Im not sure he's ever going to be a 70-plus guy. He may, but not assured.

I disagree with some of the comments here. Barkov is awesome, his ceiling is much higher then TJ's.
I've been impressed by him since his first NHL game. He plays with so much poise and intelligence for his age. No doubt he'll be a superstar if he stays healthy.
TJ however is the safer bet right now, he's already hit 70.
TJ = safe play ...Barkov = swing for the fences.

I'd take good ol' Tyler Johnson. Guy stepped his game up and took over the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2015 playoffs. I had the chance in getting him over a year ago and I am kicking myself over it. Makes me so SICK lol

Think of it like this, since you're thinking about upside down the line....
TJ for Kopitar. That's likely Barkov's ideal upside. Do you make that deal? Keep in mind its not a guarantee Barkov reaches that level.
