Forget about positions as I have options to pick up another RW to replace Perry.
Plus it allows me the option to move Thornton or Eichel.

I like it as a Giroux fan. Thoughts ?

Yea I'd do it. Perry is a beast here, but Giroux is the best player in this deal in the long run imo.

Giroux hits, scores goals, gets ppp, gets assists, gets sog and normally is a C, RW. I love Giroux and I peg him higher than Perry pretty much 10 times out of 10.

With defensemen points being a category, I would want the higher point producing D-men, and I still think it’s Hamilton over Dion. However, on your teams make up, you have little hitting forwards up front, and Dion pretty much your hitter in the group.

Vacuum, yes I do this trade. For you, it’s tough.

Is Giroux C, RW eligible? If he’s not, you have Crosby, Backstrom and Giroux in a 2C league. It’s a tough pill to swallow when you have to bench that type of talent. If he is RW eligible, easy accept. If he’s not, you gotta find a trading partner for Crosby/Backstrom.

My idea would be to do the trade, drop a goalie (Lehtonen maybe?) pick up a LW,RW player (Pastrnak/Ehlers) to play the wing on your team. Then Trade away Crosby when he’s starting to produce again.

I'm confused as I see both Perry and Giroux in your sig, did you make a different deal? I would pull the trigger as I like Giroux more than Perry and its worth the move from Phaneuf to Hamilton.
