Default When does buy low turn to stay away?

    2 weeks? 3? 4? Midseason

Thank god Im only playing H2H this year but with some of these starts you cant help to think maybe a buy low is out unless its a buy dirt cheap.

Like at this point im starting to believe Mike Smith is going to be a better goalie than Bob/Rask... like through the course of the season... we all know goalies pop up outta nowhere every year (dubnyk, holtby, halak to an extent etc etc)

So what say yall? We still buying Bob and Rask?

We still selling Mike Smith and Martin Jones?

Personally ive decided to only buy n sell skaters at this juncture until a few more games have passed. Once we get 10% through the season ill make some decisons

I'd still be trying to buy Bob and Rask. It's only been a few games into the season and I really doubt Smith will be better than those two

Here's how I gauge a buy low...if his situation/team hasn't changed and he's a consistent 55 point player, for example, he will probably end up a 55 point player barring injuries, etc. Things USUALLY even out over the course of a season. I would say in the majority of cases that's true. Goalies are a little harder to predict as many are a product of the team in front of them, but both Rask and Bobs are tops in their positions. If you don't need to give up much why not give it a shot. Having said that, I have very little faith in Smith and believe Jones is for real, if that helps.

I agree. I think Jones is actually going to be good (obviously not what he's done so far…he has to lose eventually righ!) but you know Rask and Bob are quality goalies

Could be too late allredy. Now is the time to trade for player who started slow. Target the scared owners and make trades that will make you look like a genius after 10% of the season.

    Best buy low players:

    Crosby
    Giroux
    Malkin
    Perry
    Getzlaf
    Giordano
    Hall
    McDavid
    Doughty
    Kucherov
    Monahan
    Green
    Rask
    Bobrovsky
    Quick
    Bishop
    Varlamov
    Mason

They will all bounce back, every single one of them.

The only guy I disagree with on this list is Mason but I think everyone else on here is a solid buy-low option

Just looking at the goalies, who is everyone's favorite but low option? Or who puts up the best numbers from this point forward?

    Rask
    Bobrovsky
    Quick
    Bishop
    Varlamov
    Mason

Quick jumps out at me, but Rask and Bob do aswell

Quick is always a mediocre regular season goalie. He shines in the playoffs.

Of that list, I would say Bob because he has been downright awful to start the season and won't be like that all year long.
