What should an owner have to add to Sequin in order to land Tavares? Thoughts? I prefer Tavares, but I am curious to see how much of a value gap others see between the two in terms of compensation.

    Should't take much.

Just as examples: something like a good-great prospect, a player that is likely to break out (i.e.. Savard/Gally), or a pick (if you're in a limited keeper).

At most, I'd add a low pick. I think they're going to be neck-and-neck for the next 10+ years.

Wouldn't take too much for me to move Tavvy for Seguin. I don't see a big difference between the two moving forward. Tavares is generally considered the better player and the bigger name but that gap has almost entirely disappeared since last season. What should you ask for? Whatever you can get, really. Milk that name value as much as you can. Even a minor upgrade in that stratosphere should count for something decent, so a mid round pick or a mid level player makes sense.

EDIT: I see you're on the Seguin side of things, so hopefully what I said above at least gives you some idea about Tavares' value.
