I think it's a pretty even trade for you, based on total production for each pair.
The decision is easy though, given you gain cap space and you need a 5th D bad. Kreider will probably become your 10th. Tavares is the best player in the deal.
Easy accept to me.

Points only, I'd need more than that for Giroux and Getzlaf. I realize that Tavares is awesome and all, but I still prefer the Getzlaf side more.

Thanks for the input guys, it was a tough decision for me but I pulled the trigger. Like Nikerato said, I needed a 5th really bad especially since D.Pouliot has been assigned to Norfolk. The other owner is happy has well and I get more than enough cap space to manuver. Thanks for the input and feel free to express your point of vue

Don't forget that it's a cap league. Imo it's an even trade for both of us, you seem to think I got ripped though. Shattenkirk could be a 65points D-men down the line, maybe even more while John Tavares is only getting better, all that at a low cost. Of course Giroux and Getzlaf are both excellent but Getzlaf will start to decline in 2-3 years
