I'm thinking Jones. The Sharks should not have been as bad as last year's record, and he's got a solid history statwise (albeit in limited sample size).
To be "This Year's Holtby" it would have to be a big jump -- the guy was top 5 last year -- and I don't see guys like Darling, Markstrom, etc. getting the time or having the team to do it. Bobrovsky has already broken out big time. Andersen seems like a good pick too.
    Points-only, Full Keeper Dynasty League
Active roster (no starts, just total points): 12 FW, 6 D, 1 Goalie

Forwards: Kucherov, Barkov, Teravainen, Seguin, Hoffman, Lindholm, Gusev, Horvat, Meier, Perron, Schwartz, Johansen, Pavelski, Buchnevich, Hischier, Granlund, Bracco

Defense: Josi, Dahlin, Letang, Gostisbehere, Ekman-Larsson, Petry, Slavin, Keith, Matheson

    Goal: Lehner, Holtby, Varlamov

Farm: Soderstrom, York, Woo, Tracey, Dorofeyev

So you mean a relatively unproven, underrated goalie with a young career and only 40ish starts per season jumping into Lundqvist/Rinne/Price territory??

    My picks:

    S. Mason
    F. Andersen
    D. Dubnyk

Exactly. Wasn't Holtby last year's Bobrovsky?

Bernier for me. I do not like the Leafs, but he has the talent to be great for them.

Bernier may not take a massive jump this yr, but I think he’ll be a great value for his ADP.

Mike Smith may not be a popular name, but all his numbers last yr made a massive drop except his Short-handed S%. It’s almost identical to 2013-14 season (0.865s% and Holtby’s was 0.864s% in 2013-14). He may not be a 30-35W goalie, but his periphs will be a nice 3rd string goalie for a 12-team league.

I certainly take your point on Bobs, but Andersen's acceptable. He's not "there" yet. I don't see him being drafted with the "great goalies" at this point.

The Leafs will have to improve in order for Bernier to reach the next level. He may get there but I foresee tough sledding for him this year.

Jones is gonna do for SJ what Bishop did for TB in his first full season, only won't have as good a GAA and SV% but it will still be above avg

I think Allen is in for a BIG year.

Put me down for Mason, and I also like Markstrom to emerge and step up big time.

This was my thought, If flyers could play defense and Mason could stay healthy, he could be a stud. Both pretty big IFS though.

I dont see any NHL goalie being another Holtby this year. Last year was pretty damn special, all things considered.

Good point. At least not in today's NHL, to play that many games.
