Can you make trades? Look to trade goalie for elite forward.
wondering who my 4 keepers should be in my h2h yahoo league in sig. Giroux is my obvious choice as 1st keeper but beyond that i'm not sure. The players in bold are the players I kept the previous season. Top goalies are kinda scarce since its a 16team league with "Most" teams keeping a goalie, but not every team so its not a necessity to do so (I expected big things from lehtonen in dallas last year, obv the offense was there but the team defense let me down). I have a few good forwards,d and goalies to choose from.

I rarely keep Dmen in a limited keeper but your forwards are lacking and your D were beasts. My next keeper would be Giordano and honestly wanted to put him in there over Josi, but it's so close.

Giordano/Josi
I am in the exact same boat as Axe on this one, I would rather have Giordano in a perfect world as I've watched him play frequently over the years here... the man is truly a #1 stud. However, his age and injury (compared to Josi) makes me think Gio could last a slightly longer period than Josi in a re-draft. Though I could turn that around and say Giordano's body of work before injury should make him a surefire keeper.
I've already flipped my answer twice while typing this, so that tells you how close it is. Go with your gut on this one, but the first three are absolute keepers for you.

See if you can package Anderson and one of Hedman / Giordano for a top end Forward... if goalies are scarce, this might entice someone.
Otherwise, Giroux, Hedman, Josi, Dubnyck and focus on forwards EARLY in the draft.

Giroux and Hedman for sure
All depending on the availability of goalies in a 16-team pool, I would be inclined to keep BOTH Andersen and Dubnyk.
You can then focus on your D and forwards while having 2 top 10 (or 12) tenders in a 16-team pool.
If not many goalies are kept 9meaning you can draft a second goalie with more ease), I would flip Andersen with Giordano

It sounds like having two top goalies would be a great asset in your league considering most teams wouldn't be able to obtain that. If that proved to be a great commodity last season for you that gave you a strong advantage over opponents each week, I would hang onto Andersen and Dubnyk. Other two would be Giroux and Hedman. I like Gio, but his injury history takes away from his value and his supporting cast to keep him productive isn't as strong as Hedman's.
If you did roll with two goalies, you could always look at trading one during the season to obtain an elite forward (which your team could use). Look for a team with great forwards but nothing in net and you will find a potential trade partner.
6w-giroux,d.sedin
4d-giordano,,hedman,josi
2g-andersen,dubnyk
With this list you would be wise to work diligently on trades. Even if you just move up a few rounds in the draft.
Andersen/Dubnyk - as long as you have one
Hedman/Josi/Giordano - as long as you have one. If you don't want to cover Giordano, then at least be certain to wave him all around to the other poolies. Wave any of the three around, striving to improve you lot.
Sedin is similar. Nice to have, but it's okay to move him.
Giroux is a keeper on every team in your fantasy pool. You'll be wanting to get something else very high end, if you can trick a Philly fan into swinging a deal for him.
Thump and bang. It'll be fun! When you're done, as you discovered last year with Spezza and Lehtonen, it is still a bit of a crap shoot!
I would look to see if you could package one of your two goalies with someone for an upgrade - even Giroux. find someone that needs goalie help.
Might look at keeping Horny as he is with crosby. - ahead of sedin as he is a declining asset age wise - may have 1 good year left?
Top end forwards look like they are worth a premium in your league, from your stats. you can draft some D men. see what you can trade of ugraded picks.

Thanks for the input guys, we can make trades but only during the season (before league playoffs start) so i'm unable to trade assets now. Though I was happy with their production I woulda shipped sedin and spezza but they were 2 of my more productive forwards and I was in the thick of a playoff run. Since theres 16 teams keeping 4 each thats 64 of the top players off the board so I usually try to target top multi cat guys early. This usually leads me to having avg scoring, but i usually win my hits, blks and goalie cats in my weekly matchups (so ususlly guaranteed 5-6 cats, then freeroll the rest). Last year I picked evander kane with my 1st (16th overall) because hes a hits and shots beast and i hoped he'd buzz with scheifle but he missed alot of the year and played mainly 3rd line minutes... that hurt.

Update:as you can tell from my sig I went with the consensus, Though I dont like the idea of keeping 2 dmen in a limited keeper, I figured hedman and josi would be harder to redraft compared to spezza (C only) and 35yr old daniel sedin. Hornqvist and giordano are to much of injury risks. Chose dubnyk over andersen because dubbies yahoo ranking is much high compared to andersens low ranking so im hoping to sneak a redraft...and also the 3 headed crease carasel still makes e uneasy
