I would think that immediate impact would be 25 - 30 points at the top end, but that Pietrangelo will get a softer cushion into the NHL and in all likelihood end up playing with EJ, whereas Bogosian is on a rougher squad in Atlanta.
I am targeting both in my dynasty hockey league. I will only get one of them. Who is the better bet in fantasy? What type of short term and long term projection do these players have in regard to fantasy play for scoring?

Just a thought
If someone else is eyeing Bogosian, make a deal with that person to get another high end pick and dial up Pietrangelo and Tyler Myers, NHL central scouting are quoted as thinking he might be the best D-man long term in this draft. I thought it was interesting, and they do know a thing of two about identifying emerging talent.
Id be suprised if Pietrangelo sticks all year ... not that he doesnt belong.. but defense is a tough position for rookies to step up to from the O to the show , its not like a forward... I realize Zach is def as well, so the same situation could apply..
thats a tough call, i think bogo may start sooner just because they need all the help they can get but pietrangelo is the better long term pick, i see him as a Markov type d-man, not esp strong defensivley but great on the PP which is what matters for fantasy
