Devils need bodies up front badly. Trade helps both sides I reckon. Plus he is from Smithtown so this is a bit of a homecoming for Kyle
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

On the other side of the deal, this allows the Ducks to explore some options with some of their other forward prospects, like Nick Ritchie, Emerson Etem or Nick Kerdiles who now may see some more ice time this year on the big club It should also free up some cash to sign RFA Jacob Silfverberg who had a great playoffs.
