Looks like you are dealing with a very eager gm . What else could you get besides Malkin ? Maybe something better than Letang . Maybe you can turn Malkin +? into something really nice from another gm ...
I would get the most I can get for Giroux then dangle the proceeds to the other gm's .
You may even want to wait until Malkin catches fire to do it (and we all know it will happen at some point).

Hard to gauge with so many pieces going back and forth, but damn I like those 3 D-men and Schneider is no slouch as a 3rd to Rask and Price. You have an incredible defence and your tenders are top notch.

Jeez! It would take me a while to go through the math to figure out if this is a good deal or not. hahaha. My concern is taking Malkin, Skinner and Letang. That is a lot of potential games missed next year. Feast or famine I guess.

I wouldn't have given up Rinne.. That deal is way too big to properly disect at the moment, but giving up the best forward(Giroux) and the best goalie(Rinne) in the deal sucks ducks!!

Rinne became a big part of the deal when I started asking for Kucherov+Hedman as talks progressed. It was tough giving up Giroux, Rinne, Doughty, etc.
