Hey,
Been offered Price for Julio Teehran and Greg Polanco
He originally was interested in my final keeper Samardjica but countered for Teehran instead.
I cannot keep Polanco so don't care about him one bit. Its a matter of which 2 I'd want out of those 3 pitchers.
Negatives:
Price: detroit infield is terrible now and some might say white sox team is even better.
Samardjica: he's just not as trade valueable...but he's pretty consistently good
Teehran: Braves are projected to be bad this year for wins...his K rate hasn't been enormous but he is very young. I like that he plays in the NL.

I'd want Price and Teheran. I just see more consistency and lower ERA's with those two considering the parks they pitch in.
I'd trade Samardzija; the south side of Chicago could be a little different for him. I'd expect a few more homeruns and a higher ERA this season.
When it comes to pitching, if two guys have similar skills, I take the one who pitches in the National League.

This decision has me stumped. Now after reading Polanco has gained some weight for more power, gauranteed RF...has me questioning dropping him!
If Price were to sign in the NL that would make me happy. Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming!

Why? I don't see any reason for this team to keep Polanco over an established young pitcher like Teheran.
