Analysis: Vatanen remained on the ice for extra work during Wednesday's morning skate, an indication the team plans to scratch him for the game. The Ducks activated the blueliner from injured reserve over the weekend, but he still seems to be in the day-to-day phase of his recovery from the injury. With another practice Thursday, Vatanen may be ready to go for Friday's match against the Avalanche.
