Rousey vs Zingano headline... brutal
Missed doing this the last few months, but life has settled down again and I'm a little more organized. A little. Like...1%.
Rules are simple. Who's in? If you're not in, I'm gonna come over there and knee you in the face. Then put you in an armbar and ignore your frantic tapping
Who do you like, which round, and method of decision? 2pts for winner, 1pt for round, 1pt for method - you can only get the 'round' and 'method' points if your winner is correct
Rousey vs. Zingano
Pennington vs. Holm
Ellenberger vs. Koscheck
Jouban vs. Walsh
Ferguson vs. Tibau
Prelims - 1 pt for winner:
Munoz vs. Cameiro
Salazar vs. Yamamoto
Lima vs. Means
Lewis vs. Potts
Deadline at 7:55pm ET Saturday

Good thing I didn't pay for that card lol
Not to take anything away from Rousey but the women's division is a joke right now. They need more talent before it can be considered legitimately competitive.
Your beer mug isn't half-empty, your just half-way to the next refill.....
How long before failed drug tests get announced? Monday? Tuesday?

I doubt Roussey's performance has anything to do with performance enhancing drugs, although I suspect your comment was directed to the UFC in general.
Roussey has the same problem as women's Olympic hockey - a lack of competition. At least in women's hockey, there are two, maybe three teams (although it would take a female version of Miracle on Ice) who can win the gold.
I'm not a huge fan of women fighting, but if it's entertaining, I'm in. 14 or 16 second fights aren't generally entertaining, well, 14 or 16 second anything's aren't usually good when talking about entertainment.

Ahh. Lol I just noticed this thread. I would have submitted a prediction sheet had I noticed it.
And on a side note, Blayze is right about the women's side of MMA. The talent is pretty thin. It is getting better, however. It isn't the women's fault, though; it is just so new that they haven't had the time to develop the talent like the men have. It was the exact same thing for the men when the sport was in its infancy. One thing that I will say about the women's side, is that their fights are often the most entertaining fights on the card. What they lack in talent, they often make up for in enthusiasm.
Rylant
Someone tried to make an argument that Rousey is the worlds best pound for pound fighter. There’s not enough talent to declare that I think. The girl made a terrible attempt at a flying knee to start things off.
If I was about to fight RR, I’d just circle the cage for the whole first round. Say screw it, I’ll test her endurance. Even if I lost, I’d at least make it into the 2nd round.
