    Default Drop Iginla for Forsberg??

My league (in sig) counts Hits/Blks/PIMs/SOG/PPP.

Colorado's general play this season killing Iggy's value (among others). Most say one way or another Iginla ends up with 30 goals but he hasn't taken a SOG in two games already. Not to mention his PPP contribution is non-existent.

Sure he throws some hits around but I'm leading my league in Hits and it's +/- that I need right now, of which Iggy mostly hurts me in that category and Forsberg is the league leader(!!).

Call me impatient but I don't look forward to waiting around for Patrick Roy to figure out the Avs weak puck possession game while Forsberg is skating around like a superstar.

Am I crazy to consider this??

Plus/minus is one of those more random statistics. Right now Forsberg has been one of the luckiest guys in terms of both having goals go in at an exceedingly high rate but also having pucks stopped at an above-average rate by his own goaltenders. A little regression and his league-leading plus/minus falls off. The time to own Forsberg for strong plus/minus was last month.

    I'd rather have Iginla.

Thanks guys. I had a feeling that Forsberg was going to get picked up in my league anyways last night and he was. Interesting point on some regression on both ends of the ice for Nashville - makes sense.

I guess for now benching Iggy is the way to go until he gets going.
