Made a mistake, now gotta fix it. Drop McDonagh for who?
So a while ago I was faced with the decision of dropping barrie goligoski or mcdonagh
decided on barrie out and now regretting that big time. Especially since mcdonagh is hurt.
I don't have high hopes for him the rest of the year especially since it is the same shoulder too.
So, should I drop mcdonagh for Fowler, Vatanen, Edler, Garrison, Hamilton, Stralman, E. Johnson, Zidlicky, Severson, Ehrhoff
Or would you keep McDonagh on ir (already have Krug here) ? My gut is saying one of the Anaheim boys but I am puzzled on my D this year

In a one-year league I'd drop him. Separated shoulders are not fun to come back from (I've done it twice), it could be 4-5 months before it feels normal again.
I'm with you, I like both the Ducks guys. I think they will both be pretty close by the end of the year, so I'd go with your gut. Personally, I like Fowler a bit more (More experience, I think Vatanen will hit a slump at some point) but I don't think you go wrong with either.

Yeah, I'd drop him for Vatanen. He'll be out 3-4 weeks but I read the feeling around the Rangers org is it could be longer and with separated shoulder injuries, it could easily be 2 months before he's back healthy and producing.

The AHA guys are safe bets, but don't count out Stralman. The guy is on the #1 PP in TBL and the coach is giddy with the way he's playing. Fowler and Vats are both on our FA list and I'm keeping Stralman.

I would, keep Mcdonagh and move him to IR. Drop Krug and pick up Erik Johnson.

But what happens to Stralman when Hedman comes back? H e may lose some PP time depending on how TB decides to play it. They may use 4 forwards and Hedman.

I like Vatanen better. He'll be a fixture on the top PP, I think and the EV points will come.

Vatanen - do not underestimate the value of top line PP time.

Vatanen is the choice here I think, I'd drop McD.
