    Default Trade Who wins

12 Team Yahoo H2H Standard scoring and settings

    I give Backstrom (Wsh C)

    Halak

    I get Niemi

I would be the one proposing this so I mean is it a good/fair deal or not. My goalie situation is not all that good. I mean do you think I should do this or maybe pickup Scrivens or Emery or even Ramo who is splitting time with Hiller for now and drop someone like Halak. I mean any of those options aren;t much better either. So any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

My Team for this is Team 2 in the sig

No. There's gotta be a cheaper option out there to help your goaltending without having to give a player of Backstrom's calibre.

You must not do this trade. Backstrom's your no 1 C, a trade involving him would have to bring in a legit top G, like Rask, Niemi not enough.

It's early, I think you'll find that Halak will bounce back and Hiller / Anderson will give you reasonably good numbers. If you decide to make a move, I'd package something like Pominville/Saad/Halak to pick up a top goalie.

You're kidding right? He probably starts 2 goalies which means that Rask is likely gone in the 1st round (2nd round latest) in this draft. Yes Rask has had a slow start, but anyone who trades Rask for Backstrom as the centerpiece will never win the league.

As for your second offer, it is even worse. No one in their right mind would ever trade the TOP goalie in the league for 2 low end forwards and a goalie who has struggled playing for a team who has been a perennial doormat.

For me to give up Rask, I would be looking for Halak + a good forward like Backstrom.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:

G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
    D - Yandle, DeAngelo

    W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
    IR+ - Tarasenko
