I have been following this situation and Cooper is VERY comfortablw with Hedman and Stralman on the PPand utilizing Garrison as a shut down guy. Stralman very unlikely to fumble the chance and TB flying so no change in sight.

Garrison doesn't produce much at ES, so if he's not getting PP time he won't have a lot of value. I expect he'll see time there off and on as that shot is too good to not give some chances. The Lightning gave Sami Salo some good PP time due to his shot, so I think Garrison will get some chances as well. But overall, no I don't really like him this season.

No way Garrison takes over PP1 duty anytime soon with Hedman on the point.
Only way I could see him getting any PP time is if they use Hedman/Stralman on PP1, they're tired, and they want to use Garrison instead of Stralman on PP2. And then what? He's manning the point for Killorn and friends.
