All the upsets in college football and this marathon game between the Giants and Nationals. Wow! Top of the 17th, already going to set an MLB record for longest post-season game ever in terms of time, and just one inning short of tying the longest in terms of innings. Been so wrapped up in all this what have I missed aside from the two trades by the Islanders? Not much I suspect....
Add Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Oregon to the list of upsets. And three of the biggest upsets(Bama, Sooners, and USC) all going down to the wire. You gotta love days like this.
And it's official the Giants/Nats game has now tied the MLB post-season record for number of innings, 18.
