he is already in their top six, with a spot to lose. He will be a top line forward in the league one day.
Once Boyle develops, Frolov-Boyle-Purcell is a pretty nice second line.
Teddy Purcell....late bloomer....soft hands...natural skill....not a stretch to say hes top 6 in LA by end of Nov..if not to start the season...
wow
GoalSullivan
KopiStar
Frolov....my personal dud of the bunch..glorified Nagy
Brown
Purcell
forget about the stolls of the world..we know what we are getting
patty O and Kopi are the 2 blatant offensive wizards on the team.....Dustin Gold is a machine who will bring 25-35 goals per...
Can Purcell hop on this train and eventually become the \'Joe Thornton Light\' that Dobber calls him?....a potential 35 goal man who sets up as well?
serious thoughts only please...

I think Purcell should be able to make top 6...
O\'Sully - Kopitar - Brown
Frolov - Stoll - Purcell
some mixture of those 6, but I do think Purcell has the talent to play on the top 6...he has the playmaking skills that should compliment one of Brown and Frolov while having a good two-way game that should make him a good fit on any 2nd line...

angus, do you think Boyle will take the 2nd line at the start of the year? or does Stoll start there?

i guess my 2nd question as the top 6 for the most part is a given...is..
how far up the charts can T Purcell go?
like i said....Osully and Kopi are the 2 Blatant offensive studs...
Brown?..can he be consistent?.....#\'s wise..will Purcell become the 3rd stud?
does he surpass Brown offensively in next 2 seasons?
none of us have crystal balls..maybe saggy..but...the stats dont lie..and the stats tell me Purcells upside is huge in what quite possibly be the best situation for any rookie in the league?
lmk
he looked phenominal during his call-up last year... rung a few pucks off posts. i think he\'ll get a good chance, as angus says, at a 2nd line spot on this young team. now, will he ever supplant brown on the 1st? meh... that will be more a chemistry thing, and brown has intangibles.
tequila, stats may not lie, but they can tell a bunch of different stories, depending on whose talking.
Things look good for Teddy, he has top 6 role to lose. I agree with ultra that chemistry will dictate the top 2 line combos and O\'Sully, Kopistar and Dusty gelled the later part of the season.
So since we are on the topic of chemistry...given Boyle\'s chemisty with Teddy, what are 6\'6\" monster\'s chances of making the big squad this season if he and Teddy can sustain their play through camp?
