Nothing much of late except comments from Chiarelli that he won't be trading Krug or Smith. Of course that doesn't change much from what we've been hearing of late, which is that the Bs will be looking to make a deal to free up the $$ for signing those guys.
It was interesting to see in one article that it's the first time during Chirelli's tenure that any players were unsigned once camp opened.
My guess would be that the Bs wait to see if any injuries occur, in order to get a better price for the assets that they'd need to trade in order to have the $$ to sign their RFAs. In turn, that means Krug might miss a good deal of preseason time.

These signing won't/can't happen until they make a trade, simple as, they don't have the cap space. They have stated that they want to sign both but can't at the moment and want to wait until things sort themselves out, which must mean a trade.
Both players must be pretty annoyed being made to sit out training camp and getting up to speed through no fault of their own, just the B's total mismanagement of their cap space.
