The first two teams are Riga and Strasbourg. The Latvian team hopes to advance to its first ever Euroleague regular season through its third qualifying rounds appearance in the past four seasons. However VEF is yet to win a game at the event. My bet is for Strasbourg

Last season Ostend almost got their place in Euroleague regular season, but the lost the final match of the 2013/2014 Qualifiyng Round. Can they this season, playing at home, secure a win? I don’t know, anyway, I am confident the Belgian team can destroy Lyon Tuesday night. It could be the first step to the target. My bet is for Oostende

Day 2 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds opens with a clash between the Israeli powerhouse and the Czech champs. Jerusalem plays to reach the Euroleague for the first time in more than a decade, while Nymburk, participating in the qualifying rounds for the fourth time, is hoping to finally break through. Jerusalem returns several key pieces from last season’s squad, including guards Yotam Halperin, Derwin Kitchen and Bracey Wright and forward Lior Eliyahu. However the team also changed head coaches, handing the reins to Danny Franco, and added Israeli league MVP Donta Smith and big men Tony Gaffney and Joseph Jones. Likewise Nymburk has the core of its recent success bac with the likes of Tre Simmons, Rado Rancik, Petr Benda and Jiri Welsch, while Czech great Lubos Barton, playmaker Derek Raivio, speedy guard Darius Washington, center Garrett Stutz and forward Christain Burns have reinforced Coach Kestutis Kemzura’s ranks. Each team’s respective depth at guard makes for interesting matchups, while the small forward duel between Smith and Welsch is of the game-changing variety. Both sides are adept at sharing the ball, so team defense is also key. Both teams are hungry and eager, which should make this win-or-go-home clash an exciting one.

UNICS Kazan vs Zielona Gora
Stelmet Zielona Gora hopes to use its recently acquired Euroleague experience in a tough home game against Unics Kazan - the only undefeated team in the Eurocup Regular Season. Unics has a 6-2 record against Polish teams, but has never faced Zielona Gora. Two-time champ Valencia Basket hosts Telenet Ostend for the third time in Spain. Valencia has beaten Ostend at home in 2002-03 and in 2011-12 but this will be their first showdown beyond regular season action.
