Traverse City Tournament

Since I posted about the Young Stars Classic, I'll post about Traverse City as well. The tournament started today and goes until Sept. 16th. I've attached the schedule.

The "Gordie Howe" division has Minnesota, Columbus, Detroit and St. Louis. The "Ted Lindsay" division has Buffalo, Dallas, Carolina and the New York Rangers.

What does this tourny consists of in terms of NHL talent? Genuinely curious.

Eg) I would love to see the top 5 scorers in this tournament from the past 10 years.

Highlights from Blues - Red Wings yesterday.

Mantha #39, Frk #42, Sproul #48. They, along with free agent invite Joe Hicketts #53 were the guys that stood out the most to me among the Wings. Mantha scored twice, Sproul once and Hicketts with the OT winner. Frk just looked tenacious with good passing.

Well that just sucks! I mean yeah congrats to Columbus and all....but was hoping to see Texas put the cherry on the sundae. A fair number of those guys were there for the Calder Cup win so they still have that.

Have to feel good about the way they played through the tourney from the articles I've read. Now to bigger fish in bigger oceans.
