I've seen him mentioned in a few threads, is he going to be a good one? He had some very impressive stats in Finland. Is he worth picking up now and sitting on him for a few seasons? When is his projected arrival to NA? I'm debating on replacing j.eriksson with either SAROS or KINKAID for my minor team. League and team in sig, thanks

At this point, who knows. So much of a goalie future depends on opportunity. He's a good prospect but beyond that, it's a guessing game.

As far as goalie prospects go, I rate him pretty high on the charts. That being said, goalie prospects are extremely volatile. It's always a crap shoot.

Just like the above posters said, prospect goalies are a crap shoot. That being said I would put Saros easily into top 10 of goalie prospects. His numbers were extraordinary. The only thing to worry about him is his size. He is not your standard big, lanky butterfly goalie. He relies on movement. Something to keep in mind.

I am very very high on him, in fact i drafted him in our prospect draft a couple of days ago ahead of guys like gillies, makarov or mcdonald...
Of course it is a crap shoot, but everything i have seen from him makes me think that he can be a great goalie in the NHL one day ( 4 - 5 years wait me thinks )
i am not as worried about his size as others. heīs about the same size as tim thomas...
