That's the right call, IMO. Man, did Schaub tumble from grace and land with a thump quickly.

Even though Carr's a rookie, this news has me a little less eager to target the Raiders as a team against which to stream defenses.

I don't follow football too closely, and joined a pretty pricey 1 year league... I grabbed Carr because I wasn't too confident in my Romo and Geno Smith combo..

What do you guys expect out of Carr?

Just snapped him up to challenge Vick for my QB3 behind Newton and RG3.

My QB's scare the hell outta me so glad to acquire another starter.

Depending on the league size i guess he could be fantasy valuable. 2QB league with 10 teams maybe. But Dalton, Tannehill, Palmer, and the backup to P.Manning would be options over Carr for me (depending on the leagues GMs). My league doesn't have a lot of backup QBs on GMs bench so FA has a solid amount of talent out there. Carr would be like 20th QB?

Its a 2QB league, with 12 teams.. we pretty much have Hoyer, Cousins, and Glennon FA list..

Both are pretty unproven. I thought Hoyer played first 3 games of the season last yr, he actually played week 3, 4, 5 so he had Gordon. My mistake

Week 2 shows even when Gordon had a human week he could still put up yards and TDs without him. It’ll be interesting how Hoyer does without the safety blanket that he used 10 times in week 1 last yr. I’d hold off on getting Hoyer until after week 1. Raiders offense is terrible again this yr. At least Hoyer has Cameron to throw to and a defense to keep him in the game to avoid INTs.

Ps if you have an inflated penalty for INTs (my league is -6 per INT) I’d avoid starting Carr till week 4.
