It was just too convoluted for me. There's a fine balance between stock market and hockey, and this one falls too much into the stock market side of things for me personally. Sounds like it went over well for lots of people though.

my issue is the game went away for such a long time (smallworld had it , the sporting news then gone for several seasons)that I forgot how much time is required to invest in order to stay competitive .
also found the site to be a big sluggish/slow which didnt help in the time investment standpoint
I'm still very happy that dageg brought it back to life and will likely play again
