personally i'd do it. Karllson is the top scoring d-man in the league. You need to bring up mckinnon anyways from your farm ( if im understanding your league correctly) so karllson is an upgrade over burns and mackinnon can take pacioretty's spot.
Which side do you like better? League and team in sig.

I'd take the Karlsson + a roster spot side of that group.
No way, Goals are double assists in your league
MaxPac is a 100 point player for you.
Wouldn't do it
Also Burns will put up 50 easy

I would still take Karlsson and fill the spot left open with someone else.
I see the spike at goals set at 2 points. You still make this deal as you are acquiring the best scoring d-man in the league. You don't pass this up as it won't come around often. You still have plenty of firepower at the forward position to not hurt you with the loss of Pac.
d-men are 40% of our lineups (start 6F/4D), so i guess the question is whether the upgrade from Burns (say 50 pool points) to Karlsson (say 90 pool points) is worth giving up Pacioretty (say 100 pool points), given how deep my forward group is...?

Karlsson side for me. You have a stacked farm team so I don't see giving up Pacioretty as much of an issue. The points leagues I'm in the price to land Karlsson is a top forward like Tavares or Stamkos.
Karlsson side every single day!
Karlsson by a mile.

Yup, your team is stacked! You have enough fire power and goal scorers there to help offset the loss of those two. EK put up 12 points against me two years back in a weekly head-to-head. I've never forgotten that..lol Those offers don't come around too many times. Take it.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Just to be a broken record, take Karlsson.
Pacioretty might end up with more points in your league.....but having the undisputed top d-man in a points-only league is too much to pass up. You can replace Patch with one of the many young forwards you own and not lose much. There is no replacement for Karlsson.

Just to throw a wrench into things, I read the other day that Wilson stated that Burns is moving back to D. Sorry I can't provide the link, and it WAS paraphrased, but that's what was written....some San Fran/San Jose area website.
That said, I'd still make the deal. Nobody better than Karlsson.

Burns moving back to D is pretty much known. Or I at least thought it was.
I would still take the Karlsson side.
