Why is Boedker ranked 49th and Hodgson ranked 23rd on the prospect rankings when the prospect report clearly had it the other way around. Is it that the situation in Pheonix with all the young prospects will stunt Boedker\'s potential?
I have the 6th pick in our prospect draft. Stamkos, Doughty and Filatov have gone 1,2 and 3. I am not sure what the team holding #4 or $5 is going to do.
Bogosian, Pietrangelo, Boedker & Hodson are the 3 I am targeting.
Anyone else should I consider?
Goals are worth 1 and assists are .5, nothing else matters
League is a heads up league with the ability to keep players on the farm indefinetly. I am looking for best available. I am making a run this year but I am not necessarily looking for current year help

Bogosian if you want defense, Hodgson if you want a forward.
Boedker... bogosian if you really need the dman

you\'ll never get bogo at 6. and pieterangelo will likely be gone too. if pierterangelo is available, i\'d snag him. between boedker and hodgson, its tough. i think im 51% hodgson, 49% boedker

Boedker
1. Boedker
2. Pieterangelo (future Chris Pronger)
3. Bogosian

After these two it is a flip between Pieterangelo and Hodgson depending on what you feel your team needs. I think they will take about the same amount of time to hit their stride in the bigs.

As a nucks fan Hodgson was a great pick in the draft but he has more real life value to the nucks (future captain) than fantasy value (2nd line pts).

Definitely! Like Crazy said, Hodgson has not the same value in FH compared to real life.playmaker26 wrote:

Hodgson is a couple of years away from the top 6.
If Vancouver doesn\'t sign Sundin:
Daniel Sedin top line
Ryan Kesler 2nd line
If Hodgson makes the team, Vigneault likes to mix up lines but I doubt the rookie will see more than 12 mins a game.

I don\'t see Kesler splitting from burrows... they have great chemistry..and burrows had better not be the acting 2nd line LW. If Sundin doesn\'t sign and we don\'t find a decent center, i see demitra centering the second line with raymond and wellwood, or something along those lines. Kesler will remain our 3rd line checking center with burrows on the left, and maybe Pyatt or Pettinger with them.
Kesler is not what you want as a second line center, he\'s a phenomenal checker though, let\'s hope he stays in that role.
