What is the overall score?
What is the score in each category match-up?
You only need to win half+1 cats to win the match-up, so picking the categories you chase is the MOST critical thing.
I'm a big fan of chasing the "high quantity" categories because they are the most consistent & dependable - roster players who get those cats and you'll win those cats:
*SOG
*HIT
*BLK
For SOG, it means you should definitely roster:
1) LW-Pacioretty (11th NHL) vs. DET
2) C-Mackinnon (30th NHL) vs. VAN (*We know he's having a great rookie season, but how about being 30th in SOG!!!!)
3) C-Pavelski (37th NHL) vs. WPG
4) LW-Neal (5th NHL in SOG/game) vs. LA
5) RW-Nyqvist (hottest player in NHL?) vs. MON
6) RW-Callahan vs. NYI (HIT PARADE GAME?, features Windsor, Ontario's finest... Hit Champion... Matt Martin!)
And - me personally, I'm rostering all 3D, with one in your UTIL spot to chase BLK.
Benched:
Lucic (because it's vs. CHI, good defense, low total SOG)
Hossa (because it's vs. BOS, good defense, low total SOG)
Wheeler (because I dislike him and SJ is awesome at home almost always)
Kopitar (because I expect a defensive game, similar to PIT vs. STL)
My picks.
Good luck.
