    Default Zadorov or Ristolainen?

Who has the biggest fantasy upside? Zadorov has a bomb of a shot, and skates like the wind. While Risto seems to have a better toolbox?

Any opinions on who I should lean on?

    I'm thinking of dropping Zadorov.

Ristolainen for me...and I own Zadorov in one of my leagues.

Risto looks like the safer player to me... but in the boring, possibly not fantasy-worthy-in-typical-leagues way. Like Victor Hedman before this year.

I like the intriguing upside of Zadorov. He has turned into a PP QB this year at the junior levels (including internationally) and he throws a ridiculous amount of hits.

These 2 picks by Buffalo were brilliant. Potentially 2 pillars to build their defense around in a single round.

Ristolainen for me, although I am a biased Ristolainen owner who absolutely fell in love with this guy during this year's WJC tourney. If you didn't see his GWG in OT of the Gold medal game, check it out. This kid might be a "safe" play, but he oozes skill and could really make an impact in fantasy leagues down the road. Not to discredit the beast that is Zadorov ...

Its a bit of a cop out but if the choice is Zad or Rist I say YES to both !

wouldn't want to be in the position of having to choose.

I agree with the consensus from the following perspective. Risto made it to the show at age 19. Yes its perhaps more a comment on the state of the Sabres franchise but still...
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
