Barkov's Value
A Gm who is in last has approached me about Barkov. I am in very close playoff race, but looks like ill get in.
So this Gm offered me any of Doughty, Moulson, Kreider, Silvferberg, or Picks. He also has O'Reilly and Gallagher. Is this is a smart move for me? We are a salary cap pool, right now im 1.75 mil below the cap, so guys like Doughty are 6.7, Moulson 3.9. So I'd have to make so serious room to make this work.
Does this trade help me make a serious run at the title this year and then maybe trade whomever at years end for some picks are cheaper keepers? Or is it in my best interest to keep Barkov because he'll be a stud..

If you can trade Barkov for ROR in that setup, and it will give you a serious shot of contending for a title this year, I think you have to do it. Keeping 9 F in your league, I don't think Barkov's production over the next year or so is going to justify a spot, therefore, you might as well move him for a valuable asset. ROR is that asset imo.

At over 6 mil he will be a tough addition, unless Letang goes on the Ir I don't think I could make it happen, same goes for Doughty. I would have to drop to many guys.
Is it still worth it if I can't get either of those two?
